1) Add a link or discuss your favorite thing/blog post/etc. Why did you choose this?
My favorite thing I've done this semester is making the cookies that we did this last section. I liked making the bath bombs because I has so much fun working with Lydia and testing the bath bombs, and it was interesting how Andrew let do this as a project.Something that took from this project would have to be collaborating with peers and getting our supplies needed for this project. Overall this project was great and I learned a lot working on it.
2) When were you most curious?
I was really curious about all the projects that we would get to pick and do this semester. i think it was a really good idea where we got to plan our semester and work on whatever we found most interesting. By having that freedom, I think I could really take a lot from this semester.it was also very intriguing trying to figure out our project and especially to take ideas from our peers and work together. I think all the projects I did were really fun to do and of course interesting. While in this class I learned a lot and found I was curious about a lot of things, and once I was curious I would do that project even though there were some projects I didn't get to I did most.
3) When were you least curious?
I was least curious about the rocket project. When we had to learn about and design motors I didn't really seem interested in this project I would've rather been doing something else that I enjoyed. Before the project we had to do a lot of research which took hours to do, because there wasn't really a site we could depend on.I also wasn't curious about how the rocket worked or how what we had to do in order to build, I felt like it dragged on a bit also. Some people had a great time with this project because they were interested, but I wasn't one of them.
4) How has this semester helped you for next and beyond?
I learned a lot this semester on the projects we did and I thoroughly improved in writing. With all the blog we did, I feel like I got better and reflecting and explaining my experience with detail. One thing that this class has also helped me with is managing my time well, the first section I didn't have my blog done in time, and as we went through each section I started getting the blogs done on time and with accuracy. It was really important for me to stay focused in class and not get distracted, because we had time in class to work and if you didn't use it wisely it quite difficult to stay on it.
5) Give a few last words.A message to my future students.A bit of wisdom you'd like to share.
Overall this semester was fun and I great time doing so many different projects with my friends. It was really fun how we got to choose the projects we wanted to do this semester, I found I was really interested in this class most of the time. I will miss this class, especially partnering up and doing projects with friends. You will have so much fun n this class and make sure to use your time wisely in class. Another thing is to make sure you update your blog regularly, because if you don't it will be really hard to update it last minute. Make sure to have fun and to do all the projects you want to do, good luck!
